Ashleigh graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Linguistics from Griffith University, and then completed her Bachelor of Laws in 2017, from Griffith University. She then commenced her Practical Legal Training in July 2018 with our office, and joined us on a full time basis as Law Clerk in October 2018. In June of 2019, Ash was admitted to the Queensland Supreme Court
Ash has previously worked in Family Law, however, much prefers working in Criminal Law due to the faster pace and progression of matters. She believes that it is a fundamental human right for all accused individuals to be represented in Court by a Solicitor. She also believes that a strong and effective Criminal Defence Service is the cornerstone of our society, and if there is no defence for persons being prosecuted by the state, then there is no justice.
With her understanding nature and passion for justice, she engages with clients throughout the duration of their case, putting their best interests forward at all times.
Ash appears before the Magistrates Court on a daily basis, and regularly before the District and Supreme Court throughout different jurisdictions in South-East Queensland. She is truly passionate about her job and looks forward to assisting you throughout your legal proceedings.
